Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage user requests for assistance, utilising designated helpdesk systems to track, prioritise, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate closely with external vendors and internal IT staff to expedite problem resolution, proactively seeking support when necessary and maintaining accurate contact logs.

  • Support IT asset management by coordinating equipment delivery, repair, and relocation, meticulously tracking all movements and notifying management of changes.

  • Provide effective end-user training and support for desktop applications like Office 365 and Windows 10.

  • Administer user and system accounts across critical platforms including Windows Server, SQL 2016, the Warehouse Management system, and Sage 300.

    Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.

  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.

  • Experience working with Avaya or similar IP-based phone systems.

  • Experience with helpdesk tools and ticket routing.

  • Experience supporting enterprise resource planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, or MS Dynamics).

  • Ability to work in a changing and creative environment.
