Hybrid working - 2 days per week (flexible)

SR2 have exclusively partnered with a Bristol based SaaS business, who after some recent success of securing multi-million pound funding and partnering with a new US based Hedge Fund customer are expanding their engineering team. It truly couldn't be a better time to join this business!

We think this just might be one of the hottest opportunities for a Java Software Engineer in the Bristol market right now, one of the main reasons being... this team are working with 5+ different cloud providers, they are even partnering up with the team over at AWS to support them on some of the problems they are trying to solve.

If you would class yourself as a software engineer with a deep passion for solving highly complex problems, and enjoy working on systems with high scalability you'd be very happy working in this team. This is a smaller sized, close-knit business with some huge customers and working on something very unique. 
Technologies they are working with daily include: Java, Spring boot, Kafka, Microservices Architecture, some Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, Kubernetes and more.

Experience Needed:

Experienced backend Java software engineer
Expereinced working with systems at high scalability
Experienced working with distributed systems and microservices architecture
Great complex problem solving skills 
Team player, enjoys working in a collaborative and automonously
