About the Physics Teacher Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join our thriving Science department. The successful Physics Teacher will have the opportunity to teach Physics across Key Stages 3-5, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Physics Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.

  • Create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore Physics concepts and develop their scientific skills.

  • Teach a variety of Physics topics, ensuring students gain a solid foundation in the subject.

  • Assess and monitor student progress in Physics, providing constructive feedback and support.

  • Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and departmental resources.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Physics teaching.

    Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Physics or a related field.

  • Experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.

  • A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Physics.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for Physics and a commitment to inspiring students.
