A successful and established Ipswich based business is looking to appoint a Senior BI / Data Analyst as part of a wider modernisation of its data and reporting capability.

An excellent opportunity to work in an organisation investing heavily in how it uses data across the business. The role will play a key part in shaping and delivering a modern data strategy, bringing together on-premise and cloud-based data sources into a more unified, reliable and scalable environment.

This is not just a reporting role. The business is looking for someone curious, analytical and commercially aware, who can challenge existing approaches, reduce manual effort, improve scalability and help shape how data is used across the organisation. A big focus will be to help the business move away from manual and legacy reporting towards more automated, self-service analytics and reusable datasets.

The position will suit you if you enjoy working with complex datasets, improving reporting processes, building robust data models and helping stakeholders make better decisions through clear, meaningful insight.

To be successful it is likely that you will have:

· Strong SQL skills

· Python experience

· Power BI or similar BI / visualisation tools

· Data modelling experience

· Strong understanding of metrics, reporting accuracy and data quality

· Confident stakeholder engagement skills

· Exposure to Databricks, cloud data platforms, GA4 or Azure would be advantageous

In return they are offering

· A salary of up to £50,000 + Bonus

· Hybrid working

· 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

· Excellent benefits

For a confidential conversation, please get in touch to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
