Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Location: Ellesmere Port

Pay Rate: £15.68 p/h

Temp To Perm – Immediate Start

Aspion are currently looking for an Industrial Cleaner to start on a site based in Ellesmere Port. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the site remains clean, safe, and operational by carrying out manual cleaning tasks, including the removal of debris using wheelbarrows, shovels, brooms, and cleaning machinery as required.

You will need to be numerically literate and have a good attention to detail as you will be expected to measure and weigh powders accurately working with grams. You will also need to work in a heated environment around a furness and be able to wear airflow masks.  

Key Responsibilities:

Manual site cleaning using wheelbarrows, shovels, and brushes.
Removal of waste, debris, and general site rubbish to designated areas.
Cleaning around machinery and operational areas to ensure a safe working environment.
Cleaning and maintaining machinery as directed (non-technical cleaning).
Keeping walkways, access routes, and working areas clean and free from obstructions.
Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
Ensure all work is carried out to company standards and timelines.
Report any unsafe conditions, hazards, or damaged equipment immediately.
Work collaboratively with other site staff and supervisors to complete tasks.
Perform any other general cleaning duties as required by the site management.
Essential Requirements:

Good level of physical fitness; ability to lift, carry, shovel, and transport loads manually.
Experience using basic cleaning tools such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and brooms.
Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather and site conditions.
Basic understanding of site safety and safe working practices.
Willingness to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
