We work with extraordinary young people navigating the challenges of SEND, SEMH, and EBSA, and we provide the kind of education that doesn’t just fill in the gaps — it unlocks potential.
We take education out of the box — away from rigid classrooms — and bring it to life in safe, nurturing spaces: homes, libraries, learning hubs, and wherever our students feel most understood and at ease.

We’re searching for a Qualified Nurture Teacher (QTS essential) to join our mission in Wigan — someone who thrives on human connection, tailors learning to the child, and brings heart as well as expertise to every lesson.
In this role, you’ll deliver meaningful, 1:1 or small group sessions that spark confidence, rebuild trust in learning, and gently guide young people back onto a path of growth. This isn’t just a job — it’s a calling for teachers who want to make a difference where it matters most.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing and delivering imaginative, personalised lessons for children with SEMH, SEND, and EBSA.
Teaching in calming, community-based spaces: homes, libraries, and centres.
Building deep, trust-filled relationships that nurture emotional and academic recovery.
Working hand-in-hand with families, professionals, and schools to create wraparound support.
Monitoring and celebrating each student’s progress — no win too small.
Inspiring joy, independence, and a love for learning in students who may have lost faith in it.
What You Bring to This Life-Changing Work
✅ QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – an essential foundation
✅ Experience supporting students with SEMH, EBSA, ASD, ADHD, and other SEND needs
✅ Creative and flexible delivery of lessons in diverse, community-based settings
✅ Warmth, empathy, and outstanding communication skills
✅ Confidence to work independently — including solo sessions in homes or libraries
✅ A trauma-informed, deeply nurturing teaching approach
Desirable:
🚗 UK Driving Licence – to help you travel between learning locations
Why This is the Best Job You'll Ever Have
✨ Your schedule, your way – flexible hours to suit your lifestyle
📚 Access to top-tier resources and CPD to keep you growing
📞 24/7 support and a friendly base in Wigan — you’re never alone
🌍 Meaningful, community-based teaching – every day is different
🌱 Be the adult who helps a child believe in themselves again
We Take Safeguarding Seriously
SEND Inclusion Support is committed to the safety and well-being of every child. All applicants will require or need to undergo enhanced DBS checks and reference screening.
