Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: 2 - 3 days per week in the Reading Office
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum Depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

We continue to be early adopters of new and emerging technologies, and we are looking for a like-minded individual to join our team and help us push boundaries. We continue to experiment with using AI tools to optimise our business as well incorporating it in to our product for the first time.

About the role:
We are inviting talented candidates with at least 3 years experience developing on the Salesforce platform and ideally also some experience developing in C#. Candidates with the potential to apply their skills in a rapidly growing market will thrive at ProvenWorks.
The role is hybrid so you will work 2-3 days per week collaboratively with the team at our office in Reading.
Joining this small but mighty team, you'll need to be curious and driven as well as pick up new tasks quickly and get stuck in with a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, test-driven & scalable code
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
  • Be a quick learner, adopting new technologies because that's what you enjoy
  • Stay apprised of and apply the latest industry best practices
  • Produce architecture artefacts to articulate larger, strategic changes to key stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and pull request approvals
    About you:
    Essential:
  • Be passionate about software development & IT!
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development (APEX & React)
  • 5+ years general software development experience within a team
  • Have experimented with AI tools for coding and understand the current limitations of the technology
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Extremely good attention-to-detail
  • Proactive in learning new skills and researching as necessary
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask, seeking guidance when needed
  • Familiarity with architecture patterns & APIs (REST, SOAP)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, working within a software development team, utilising Source Control
  • Already have the right to work full-time in the UK
    Desirable:
  • SQL (ideally SQL Server)
  • Experience with Microservice Architecture and modelling techniques such as Event Storming
  • Existing knowledge of C# or Python
  • Use of Microsoft Azure or alternatively AWS
